Sam is the cousin of Riley Houston. Since her father was disowned from the family when she was just the age of two, she never really got to know her cousin -- but that was about to change since they were in Hogwarts together. Sammi was sorted into Ravenclaw to her surprise. She had thought that she'd go into Slytherin like all the other Houstons (she didn't know RIley had already broken the Houston norm).
